1. Who we are
WISECORE LTD is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are a company incorporated in England and Wales under company number 17355468, with our registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, write to legal@wisecore.uk.
2. What we collect
Account data. An email address or account identifier, and your subscription status. We need this to give you access to the Service and to support you.
Payment data. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We receive confirmation of payment and limited billing metadata. We do not store full card numbers.
Service data. The amount of traffic associated with your account, your subscription status and expiry date, and the location you are connected to.
Connection metadata. Our entry servers record, for a short period, the IP address a connection comes from, the time of the connection and which of our own endpoints it was made to. We use this only to keep the network running and to detect abuse, and it is deleted automatically after 7 days.
Support data. Messages you send us and our replies.
3. What we do not collect
We do not record the websites, services or IP addresses you reach through the Service. We do not inspect, store or analyse the contents of your traffic. Our servers are not configured to keep application-level access logs of your destinations, and we do not build profiles of your activity.
4. Why we process your data and on what basis
To provide the Service you have signed up for (performance of a contract).
To take payment and keep accounting records (contract and legal obligation).
To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests).
To answer your enquiries (legitimate interests).
5. Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active and for 12 months after it is closed. Connection metadata is deleted automatically after 7 days. Support correspondence is kept for 24 months. Accounting records are kept for six years, as required by UK law.
7. International transfers
Our infrastructure is located in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation. Where personal data leaves the United Kingdom, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or on adequacy regulations, and we limit what is transferred to the connection metadata described in section 2.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, write to legal@wisecore.uk. We respond within one month.
